About the Training
This program is designed to support early-career researchers, especially PhD candidates based at African institutions, with the knowledge and tools needed to make their dissertations and future research more transparent, reproducible, and publishable. The training will introduce key principles of research credibility and provide practical guidance on implementing transparent workflows in applied economics and related fields.

Who should attend?
PhD candidates in economics or allied fields who are based at African institutions and are developing dissertation or post-graduation research projects.
Format
The training will be delivered online over two days, with interactive sessions and opportunities for participant questions.
Learning goals
Participants will learn how to strengthen research credibility through ethics, pre-analysis plans, version control, open science, and reproducible workflows.
