Dr. Pede is Head of Transformative Policies and Investments Unit under the Department of Sustainable Impact through Rice-based systems at International Rice Research Institute (IRRI). He earned his PhD in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University, where he first met Drs. Josephson and Michler. Since then, Dr. Pede has been a frequent collaborator with the AIDE Lab. Most recently the SPIA funded project "Impact Evaluations in Data Poor Settings: The Case of Stress-Tolerant Rice Varieties in Bangladesh."
